Hola Estudiantes, for the next 5 days you will be given specific class time to work on your Webquest research. This will be the second half of the class. You will be turning in your Digital Organizer as part of your evidence

  • These will be your thinking questions during this Webquest:

What is essential to know when traveling to a Spanish speaking country?

What kind of vacation can my friend and I an experience with a budget of $5,000?
How does traveling in a Spanish speaking country different from traveling in the United States?

Step 1: Explore (research): You have a graphic organizer attached to this Webquest.  Use it to gather information about your country as you become familiar with your research.

Step 2:  Group Collaboration: Now that you have explored and gathered information about the country you were given to research, you will be placed in your groups based on the country you were given. You will continue to work with this group until the end of the Webquest.

Group 5: Argentina

Group 6: Dominican Republic

Step 3: Select the role you will assume within the group for the rest of the assignment.

Step 4:

Share and discuss your personal research with your group.

Discuss what you like to do while on vacation.

Step 5: Create a vacation with an itinerary for one week.

Organize it by day. use as much detail as possible. Be creative!

Step 6: Based on your research of an ideal vacation with a budget of $5,000, add a simple budget plan for your destination


Step 5: Gather all your research and create a PowerPoint to present to the rest of the class. Your PowerPoint must have:

  • Name of your country
  • Map of the country 
  • Places of interest
  • What is the culture like in this country? Give examples
  • What are their most famous dishes, food?
  • Why did you choose this country?
  • Copy of your itinerary
  • Explain your budget and give an estimated total cost
