1.Preflight check List.

Check the preflight list to make sure Mission Control has done their job.

-their are three members in your crew

-you know what planet you are going to research

-each member of the crew has a data sheet they will be responsible for

 2. You are now ready to blast off. Each planet or star has two links for you to look at. Click the top one first and record data from the site. Use the back button to return and click on the second site and record the data found on that site. Start with Earth and then find your assigned planet.

-click on the line below Earth and record the information on your data sheet

-locate the name of your planet and click on the line below it

3. When you have completed your data sheets work with the members of your crew to fill in the Venn diagram. Does your planet or star have different features than Earth , does it have anything the same? Based on your findings could we live on your planet? Why or why not ?

4. When the crew has completed the Venn diagram you can work on your crew patch.

5. After all the crews have reported their data and discussed their Venn diagrams we will display them and each student will write a journal entry supporting the planet or star they chose for human habitation. Why did you chose the planet or star?
