The Five Senses

1. You will view a video of the five sense organs and how they work to help us make sense of the world around us.

2. In groups of four you will design a chart titled 'The Five Senses,' with suitable pictures of sense organs gathered from the internet. Label the pictures with the name of each sense it performs.

3. Each group will be assigned an area of the school to examine using each sense organ. 
Group 1: the playing field at playtime
Group2:thehall                                                                                                                                                Group 3: the classroom at lunch time
Group 4: the garden
Group 5: the Home Economics room

4. Complete a chart listing at least three things you heard ,saw, felt, smelt and tasted.  Explain why you  may have refused to use any one sense.

5. Write two things you learnt about the environments you examined.

6. State one thing that would change  if you were to loose any  sense of your choice.
