What is the purpose of the freedom of speech?

1. I will randomly choose partners from the class
2. Meet with your partner and begin to read the materials in your text and online.
3. Use class time and time at home to research the three independent online resources.
4. Identify your position on whether or not to suggest Patrick Henry's inclusion in the future texts.

• choose at least two reasons (three or more is better) to help defend and explain your suggestion
• for each reason explain how it leads you to believe Henry should/should not be included

     5.  Decide on a format for your presentation and write out all parts of the project.  You will turn in a written copy of the presentation after you present.
     6.  Choose your quote and relate it to your decision.  (*Quotes naturally lend themselves to playing    
          prominent roles in posters and other materials)
     7.  Make sure you answer each question fully.
     8.  Double check spelling and completeness.
     9.  Print out at least three copies of the written report, one for each partner and one for the Board of
          Supervisors (teacher).
   10.  Deliver presentation and sway your audience!

Use reliable internet sources that are academically reviewed or maintained - I.E. NO WIKIPEDIA!
Be thorough, diligent, and careful in your research and logic.
