Rhyming Words

Students will watch a video about rhyming words and  sing along with the songs. Students will also do matching activities as well as creating their own rhymes.

For task# 1 you will be shown a list of words such as  bat, rat, fat, hat...Can you think of any other words that rhyme? Students it is your turn to have  a try  at creating your own rhyming words.

For task#2 you will match pictures that rhyme.. You will draw a line from  each picture on the on the left to the picture on the right that rhymes with it. For task #3 you will find all the words that rhyme with the one in the box on the left, you will circle the words.

  When you have completed the matching activities you will have the opportunity to become creative geniuses and create your own personal rhyme.
