In groups, students will observe live or view video of living things and non-living in their natural environment or in an aquarium/terrarium. They will record all behaviours/actions they observe on whiteboard.

In their groups, students will compare the behaviours of living and non-living things and record (manually) their similarities and differences. They will summarise the observable behaviours/characteristics of living things and share their summaries with the class.

Extend
In groups, plan and design a terrarium/aquarium using the materials they brought and the ones brought by teacher.
