ENDANGERED ANIMALS
KOMODO : The Komodo is endangered. It is a very large reptile that lives on a few small islands of Indonesia. It is endangered because people are hunting it.
Orangutan : Orangutan are the world's most intelligent animal other than humans. They use their fingers and toes to grip onto branches. The population of orangutans is decreasing beacuse people have destroyed their habitat by hunting.
Rhinoceros : The rhinoceros is critically endangered. The rhino is prized for its horn. Rhinoceros have thick skin, acute hearing and sense of smell, but poor eyesight. They eat leaves.
Polar Bear : Polar bear is a bear nature to arctic ocean and its surrounding seas. Global warming is the most significant threat to polar bear primarily because the melting of its sea ice habitat reduces its ability to find food.
Koala : Koala is herbivore native to Australia. It has a thicker coat, large ears and large limbs. Koala was hunted for its fur.
