Gray /Ay/, Black /a/, Green /Ey/, Red /e/, White /Iy/, Pink /i/, Gold (or Yellow) /Ow/, Olive (dirty green) /o/, Blue /Uw/, Mustard (dirty yellow) /u/, Wood /^/, Turquoise (light green/blue) /Oy/, Brown /Aw/, Purple /Er/, Charcoal (dark gray) /Ar/ and Orange /Or/

2) Lesson:

*To achieve the proposed objectives and tasks, it is necessary to follow orderly the following activities and indications:

1-Open the file # 1 of uploaded video and listen to the recommendations to use the color vowel chart.

2-Use the interactive chart of the color vowel chart to hear the sound of each word and its color.

3-After practicing several times with the interactive picture and its name open the file # 2 uploaded containing the suggested reading "The letter gathers the lovers" to read it, then circulate all the verbs in past tense found in the reading and classify them in the color vowel chart.

The sound of the main vowel of multi-syllabic words dictates the color of the word. JU dy is blue. It is not JU DY or Ju DY. Every word in English is a color. Ask the students to determine the color of their name.

3) Observations / Variations

*Beginners learn 4 vowel sounds per day, Intermediate 8 per day and Advanced 16.

*The videos, word lists, vocabulary cards and many more help resources for the correct use of the color vowel chart are available for free and fun in some embassies, organizations and websites.
