Day #1:  You will look at the links below to and use them to gather information and take notes about the constellations in the sky.

Day 2: Today, you will use the following websites to choose 1 constellation to learn more about.  Then, continue your research until you can answer the following questions:

  • Where is your constellation located in the sky?
  • What creature or shape does your constellation make?
  • How/why was your constellation used?
  • What makes it unique?

Day 3 & 4:  At this point, you and your partner will create a short Google slideshow on your chosen constellation.  You must include 4-5 slides.  The template is located in Google Classroom and is titled "Constellation slide show".

Slide 1: Title and author names

Slide 2: Name and image of your constellation

Slide 3:  Where is your constellation located in the sky?

Slide 4 & 5: Interesting facts about your constellation.
