Safe Home Environment

With a parent or adult check out these valuable resources to learn about hazards in your home.

1. Play this Safety in Home game to learn more about hazards that are present in your home. 
2. Watch this video about 911. Yes, this video is about fires, but this number is used for any emergency situations.
3. Watch this video about how to prevent hazards in home. "STOP ASK FIRST"!!!
4. Decide how you are going to deal with the situation that you're in. 
5. Start creating your emergency contact list along with your step by step process that you will take in this situation or one like it. 

            - On the blank worksheet that I handed out, think of people that are most helpful to you (parents, grandparents, etc.) and list their names and numbers. List at least 5. At the very top of that list make sure you list 911.

           - On a blank piece of paper write down the step by step procedure that you would go through if your sibling got into something that was harmful.
