You will complete 4 activities:

Activity 1

Watch a YouTube video about Chile. Take notes focusing on these questions:

A) What are some of the cultural aspects of Chile that can be seen in this video? Explain.

B) How is Chile different from other Latin American countries?

C) How is Chile different from the United States or your country of origin?

C) What areas and aspects of Chile would you like to investigate more ? Why?

Activity 2

Visit the Website about a Chilean newspaper. This site will provide you with information about current events. Select an area of study. Focus on you area and create a small poster using the information from the  newspaper. Be ready to share with the class!

Activity 3

Use the link provided to access a Word Cloud. This word cloud contains facts and places of interest about Chile. Unscramble the facts and places of interest. Describe each one briefly. Add the descriptions to your interactive notebook.

Activity 4

Write an essay reflecting about the cultural aspects of Chile. In this essay compare and contrast the culture of Chile with your native culture.
