Synonyms and Antonyms for ESL students
Process

First, you will begin by paring into groups of three's. Choose your mates wisely because they will be with you all through the challenge.
Second, look for definitions and examples of synonyms and antonyms.
Here are the basics so you can begin your quest:
Synonym: A word having the same or nearly the same meaning as another word
Antonym: A word having a meaning opposite to that of another word.

Start your list of synonyms and antonyms. Remember that you will share your list with the rest of the class at the end of the week.
This site will provide a video explaining what synonyms and antonyms are, they will also explain what are homonyms which you don't need for your challenge, but will help you on your knowledge quest of synonyms and antonyms.

See what synonyms and antonyms you can incorporate from you virtual tours. Remember to keep a list of all the synonyms and antonyms so you can share with the class.
