American Sign Language Lesson

Let's start by reviewing the alphabet and numbers. As a group, click on the first video link and follow along with the letters as they are presented. Pause the video as needed to review what you just saw. Then move on to numbers 1 through 10.

Click the second video and watch the song on colors in ASL. You will learn red, green, blue, yellow, pink, purple, orange, and brown.

Finally, open the document on basic vocabulary words in ASL. Follow along with these pictures to the best of your ability. Ask for help if needed.

Once you have learned all of the Sign Language, practice everything with your groups.

To finish off this lesson, you will each individually go to get graded on your skills at the teachers desk. She will ask you to correctly spell out your name, give your age, tell her your favorite color, and pick a random vocabulary word for you to sign.
