POEM HEADING: NAME, TASK NUMBER, NAME OF RESOURCE (IF APPLICABLE); NAME OF MODEL POEM (IF APPLICABLE).
POEM GRADING CRITERIA: POEM MUST MEET THE CRITERIA SET FORTH IN THE TASK AND THEN DEMONSTRATE CAREFUL REVISION.
REVISION FOR BOTH POETRY AND ANALYSIS: STUDENT WILL SEEK OUT PEER REVIEW, TEACHER COMMENTS, WORKSHOP FEEDBACK (EVEN IF THIS FEEDBACK ORIGINATES WITH ANOTHER STUDENT'S POEM), OUTSIDE RESOURCE OF CHOICE.

ANALYTICAL PAPER HEADING: NAME, TASK NUMBER, NAME OF RESOURCE (IF APPLICABLE); NAME OF MODEL POEM (IF APPLICABLE).
ANALYTICAL PAPER CRITERIA: PAPERS WILL BE BETWEEN 2 AND 4 PAGES IN LENGTH WITH A SPECIFIC AND DEBATABLE THESIS, SPECIFIC AND DEBATABLE TOPIC SENTENCES THAT ORIGINATE WITHIN THE THESIS, EMBEDDED AND EXPLAINED QUOTED MATERIAL FROM POEMS, MODEL POEMS AND LITERARY CRITICISM. INTRODUCTIONS WILL INCLUDE ONLY AN OPENING LINE, A REFERENCE TO AUTHOR(S), TITLE(S) AND GENRE(S), AND THEN THE THESIS STATEMENT. CONCLUSIONS MAY NOT BE RE-WORDED REPLICAS OF THE INTRO BUT MUST ACTUALLY CONCLUDE SOMETHING.
