Yeah!  You have finished your research.  So lets see what you learned!  Click on the PowerPoint below and view the life cycle of the darkling beetle.  At the completion of the video, print the proceeding page and complete the little quiz.  After you complete your quiz, view the U-tube video on the life cycle of the darkling beetle.

Then youre off to your next task.  Click on the prezi below and view the life cycle of the butterfly.  At the completion of the prezi, print the activity below and complete before moving on in your adventure.   After you complete your quiz, view the U-tube video on the life cycle of the butterfly.

Did you have fun?  Okay we are getting closer to your final task. Click below for a quick review on Venn diagrams. Hint (you will need this information later)

After viewing the video I will reveal your final task.  You and your classmates will be randomly chosen by drawing numbers out of a hat to be a member of a special team of science investigators.  Once you have your teams established, here is your task. Each team will make a 8 slide Power Point on either the darkling beetle or the butterfly.  You will use your research paper and the activities that you already completed.  Your groups goal is to present your power point to the other of the class and teach them about your insect,  Once both sides has presented, each individual will complete a Venn Diagram of the two life cycles.  Good luck scientists!  I know you will find the answers you are searching for and complete an awesome power point.  The rubric that your group will be graded on can be found at the link below.
