Stop Racism
Process
Day 1: Your group will first create a skit. The skit must:
- involve a bully who is being mean to another student from a different culture/race.
- have someone who stands up to the bully.
- show a clear problem and solution
Day 2: After your skit is complete, your group will be given a poster. With your group, you are to come up with 5 different ways to stop a bully. List all five methods on the poster. You are encouraged to decorate your poster and make it look appealing!
Day 3: All group will present their skit and poster to the class. The class will reflect, through discussion, on the importance of stopping bullying and racism. Think about the following questions:
- How would you feel if someone was bullying you?
- Do you think it is hard to confront a bully? Why or why not?
- How can you better embrace other cultures/races?
