Interview- The following list contains the contact information for several people currently serving in the US Military. You must choose one person from the branch of your choice and set up a meeting or telephone conference to interview them. Once you have completed your interview you must inform the instructor of the contact person you have interviewed. (For the purpose of this project these contacts are fictitious.)

Letter - This letter must be typed. It will also be sent by mail to the person you have interviewed. Be sure to thank them for their time in your closing. You will present them with their statues on the day of your Final Presentation.

 

Statue- This statue is a gift to the Soldier, Marine, etc. who you have interviewed. It will surely be kept as a memory of the time they have spent sharing their experience with you. Be sure to be creative and try to capture the essence of that person’s overall personality as best as you can. It will be given to them when you present your Final PowerPoint Presentations. All resources will be given to you in class but the statue must be worked on at home. You will have four days to complete it.

 

PowerPoint Presentation- Your Final PowerPoint Presentation must include the following.
• A Title, Name, and Date (1 slide)
• A summary of your essay (5 slides)
• Interview questions; five questions per slide (2 slides)
• An illustrated picture of the person you interviewed and the statue you presented to them.(1 slide)
• Bibliography (1 slide)

 

*The pictures that you will be illustrating will be done in class.


* You will take time at the end of each week to add to your final presentation. This will also be done in class.
