Step 1:


Preview entire WebQuest and thoroughly read evaluation.  Make sure to ask questions prior to researching.  It would also be a great idea to have an open class discussion about endangered species.

Step 2:

Choose an animal from endangered species list:

1.  Ivory-Billed Woodpecker
2.  Amur Leopard
3.  Javan Rhinoceros
4.  Greater Bamboo Lemur
5.  Northern Right Whale
6.  Western Lowland Gorilla
7.  Leatherback Sea Turtle
8.  Siberian Tiger
9.  Chinese Giant Salamander

12. Monarch Butterfly
13. Bald Eagle

Research should include:

1.  Description of animal/photo
2.  Habitat
3.  Food Web
4.  Adaptations
5.  Reasons for Endangerment
6.  How we can help animals from being extinct?
7. Other Important Information


Step 3:

After researching your animal your partner and you will gather all the information you have collected and create a poster.  The poster must include a photo of the animal, habitat, adaptations, food web, and other important information.  After creating your poster you will present to the classroom the information you have gathered about your animal.
