The Early Explorers of Texas

You will use the following websites to access information about the explorer you selected.  You will record the information you find on the form which can be printed below.  (If you are collecting images, find one image that corresponds with the information in each box on the sheet.  Write down the name of the saved image and the website from which it came in the box.)  As you read, look for information about:
 1. the explorer's nationality, or from what country the explorer came,
 2. the year(s) of the explorer's visit or settlement,
 3. parts visited or settled,
 4. experiences in Texas,
 5. sponser, or who paid for the voyage,
 6. outcome, and
 7. interesting information.

After you have collected your facts, use the script form which can be printed below to write your script.  Then use this script to create your photostory.
