Express Yourself

STEP 1: We will discuss the different emotions that you have already learned.    

STEP 2: You will then be broken into groups of five. One person from your group will pick from the class "emotion basket", drawing the emotion you and your group will work with.

STEP 3: In your group, one member will log on to FRIENDLYKIDS.COM. You will then click on the group tab, and each member will locate their name and sign in. You will then click on the emotions link under the assignement tab. Next, you and your group members will watch the five short timeline stories and selcet which story best deal which your group emotion.

STEP 4: Once you have chose the story that you and your group feels deals with your group emotion, talk about how it made you feel. Then you will talk with your group about why you feel that way. You and your group members will have to find a way that you all would have handle the problem in the story.

STEP 5: You will prepare your group to come up to the front of the class, and let us know what you and your group have came up with. Each member will have to give a story dealing with the emotion your group had. You will let the class know which story you chose and why. then you willl let us know how you and your group would have solve the problem in the story.

*REMEMBER TO COUNT YOUR RAINBOWS, NOT YOUR THUNDERSTORMS!! :)
