Task #1:  Your team must create a detailed timeline of slave legislation that was passed. Include the following: at least  6 major laws that were passed by Congress since the Constitution was ratified. You must also include 4 slave codes that were implemented at the state level   Each entry in the timeline must include a description of the event, who was involved, why it was important. The timeline should also include any maps or photos that would help the reader better understand the event. Your timeline can also be created on TimeToast and shared with the teacher.

Task #2:  Your team is responsible for creating persuasive editorials from two different perspectives, that of a supporter of slavery and of someone against slavery as well as piece on a supporter of factory work and one which opposes factory work.  Each editorial must include researched and accurate arguments and sentiments from the time period.  Important people and ideas should also be noted in these editorials.  Each editorial should be 1 page in length, have a creative title, and dated to represent the time period. The editorial will be created using Google Docs and must be shared with the teacher.

Task #3: Your group will create four different advertisements.  One will advertise the need for slavery and another advertise the need to abolish slavery.  The second pair will of advertisements will promote the need for factory workers and the other promote better working conditions for the workers. These advertisements can be posters, multimedia (iMovie, Go Animate, Videolicious), or podcast.
