You will write a newspaper after doing your research on the following topics. After you have done each assignment, place your information into the newspaper format found here:

On the final day, you will turn in your completed newspaper.

Day1:

Chooseone of the major battles of the American Revolution and write a summary. Itshould include:

·        A description of the event

·        Key participants on both the American and British sides

·        Date and specific location of the battle

·        Who won

You will need to find a picture and include a caption

Here is a list of suggested battles to choose from:

Choose one important leader from the American Revolution and write a summary. Be sureto include:

·        A summary of their major accomplishments

·        A description of how their life ended

Find 10 interesting facts about the war to include in your newspaper. Besure to include pictures. Each fact must be written in sentence form andprovide a detailed account of your selection.

Quotations:Include at least three quotes and their authors that you believe will beremembered during the revolution.

Day5:

Finish up your assignments and turn them in by the end of the class period.
