- First, your teacher will give you a list of land animals and sea animals. You will choose two animals from the SAME category. You cannot have one from land and one from sea.
- Then, there will be books in the classroom on all of the animals, go and find the two books that are on your animals.
- You will get a chart from your teacher with questions to fill in. for example: what do your animals eat? Where do they live? etc.
- There will be teacher's helpers coming around to help fill in the charts.
- When you are finished with comparing your two animals, you will create your own animal.
- This animal is completely made up from your imagination.
- You will draw a picture of your animal, give it a name, tell us what it eats, where it lives, and its favorite thing to do.
- Finally, you will stand up in front of the class and tell them what two animals you chose and your favorite thing about them. Then, you will present the animal that you made up and tell them all about it.
