Comparing World Religions

1. You are to open the FINAL CHART file below. . Remember to SAVE your chart frequently.

2. You are to travel throughout the world, via the internet, textbook and introductory pots tocomplete the chart.  You MIGHT start with the links and power points I have provided to save you valuable time.

3. Keep track of important times and events for religions. This will be used for a time line activity

4. Decide with an open mind which religion most appeals to you. You must answer the following questions in paragraph format

Paragraph #1. - introduce the project (Amnesia, your strong faith and your exploration of religions)

Paragraph #2 - write about the religion you prefer and why

Paragraph #3- write about what you did not like about the other religions

Paragraph #4- conclusion emphasizing your findings

    - Which of the five, major religions have you decided to follow. Why?

    - What of the other four religions did you NOT like? Explain in detail why you did not like that aspect of that religion 

    - Be prepared to report to your class your opinion and turn your chart in.

6. Timeline activity - you will now use the times and events for religions. We will create a large, time line activity that incorporates all years
