Process
1. Pick a character from A Midsummer Night's Dream that you would like to learn more about. Characters of choice include:
- Theseus-Duke of Athens
- Hippolyta-former Queen of the Amazon, betrothed to Theseus
- Egeus-Hermia's Father
- Lysander-in love with Hermia
- Hermia-given to Demetrius, in love with Lysander
- Demetrius- in love with Hermia, formerly loved Helena
- Helena-in love with Demetrius, friend of Hermia
- Puck-Mischievous sprite
- Oberon-King of the Spirits
- Titania-Queen of the Spirits
2. Browse the links below that relate to your character or provide background on the play itself (Resource numbers 1-7, and 13). Keep a log of at least FOUR different resources on the provided worksheet. State what the source was, if it was helpful, and what you learned from it.
3. Also browse the links that demonstrate different journal entries (Resource numbers 8-12). These are various models to get you thinking about what a journal entry could look like, including a model that I wrote from Helena's point of view. Glance over at least TWO of these, in addition to the page that I wrote.
4. When you are done browsing the links, make sure to read through the other pages within this web quest, including the Evaluation, and the Conclusion.
5. Lastly, begin brainstorming on your worksheets what topics might be found in this character's diary.
