1. Watch the video or read the book "If You Give a Mouse a Cookie"

2.  On a sheet of construction paper list the main characters, setting, and important events that happened in the story. This will help you put the events in the correct order.

3.  Make your own book using construction paper. Use yourself as the main character of the story instead of the mouse.. Don't forget the events in the story and make sure that you ask for the correct items in the correct order.

4. Use the templates form the resources as different ways to sequence the events of the story.
