Step 1:
List what you think are important skills for employment. Once you have a list, narrow it down to the top 10 and list them in order of importance.

Step 2:
Look through the resources provided or search for some of your own. Take notes as you read on how skills are ranked and how reputable you view the source.

Step 3:
Read through your notes and organize the information into a list of the top 10 most important skills for employment. Include notes on the reasons for your choices.

Step 4:
Join with 2-3 other students and compare your lists. Come to a consensus among yourselves in organizing your lists. Generate a shared list and make notes on why each selection was made.

Step 5:
Once all members of the group agree on the order, you need to write a paper explaining each skill in order of importance and why it is considered important to employers.

Step 6:
Compare your researched list to your first list. Write one to two paragraphs on your misconceptions prior to this exercise and on what you learned from this exercise.
