Adventures of the Zoo

1. Teacher will pick students to work together as a small group.  Before you begin, ask your teacher for your graph sheet and put it in your Science folder.  Bring a pencil and get ready to go on an adventure and look at some animals on the internet.

2.  You are ready to begin.  You can find some pictures of animals here:

When you see the animals, talk with your friends and discuss where you think it lives before clicking on the animal to find out where it originally came from.  Then graph it on your sheet according to the country it originated. When you are finished, discusss your graph sheet.

3.  Help your teacher graph the animals you saw according to their country.  Then talk about which country had the most and the least animals at the zoo.

4. Draw your favorite animal and label it.
