Secondary Storage Devices

(1)   To complete this assignment, you will work in groups of four.  Use the Internet to search for the
         information that you need.  To start you off, I have included two websites in the Resources  
         section below that you can use.
        
(2)   You should first search for a definition of a storage device.

(3)   Give two reasons why they are used and identify four examples of secondary storage devices. 
        Include a picture of the device.

(4)   Provide a brief description of the device which includes the type of data that can be stored on the  
        device (e.g. audio, text, video), the storage capacity of the device, and two advantages and 
        disadvantages of the device.  Since there are four group members each member can be responsible
        for getting information about a storage device.

(5)   Once you have all the information you need, create a Powerpoint Presentation for presentation to 
         the class.  Save it as "Secondary Storage Devices." You will be awarded points for creativity in
         designing your Powerpoint slides.  So please make use of graphics, animation, etc.
