Your brochure will have 4 sections. These sections will be divided as follows:

1. Front Cover

2. General info about the topic (what does it mean "endangered", how many species are endangered, what species are in danger)

3. Species in danger of extinction (choose 4 species to describe)

 4. What to do to protect animals (ideas)

The cover should be designed by the entire team.
The General Information section will be designed by the entire team.
What to do to protect animals section will be designed by the entire team.

The remaining four pages in section 3 (animals in danger) will be an individual project. Each of you will choose one animal and create a page based on information found on the Internet (name, dwelling details of the animal, why is it in danger? etc.).
Your pages should include the websites that you used as well as graphics. When completed, your pages will be put together as one group brochure.
Brochure 4 pages  - group work + 4 pages individual work (each - min 150 words)

Use the Internet information linked below to answer the basic questions : What good animals are in danger? Where did you find the information? Where do they live? Why are they in danger? What can we do to protect them? Be creative in exploring the information so that you answer these questions fully in your brochure.

Action Plan:

Step 1: Do brainstorming to come up with ideas. Share your ideas with other people in the group. Decide about the format of your brochure. (folded, binded, printed, paper format etc.)

Step 2: Decide upon the roles for each member of your group. Choose animal to your individual work.

Step 3: Search for important information, select the most important ones. Visit the given websites and watch the You Tube video. When you gather all required details. Share your findings with other people.

Step 4: Put your brochure together. Prepare to present your brochure orally to the class. Each person will have to contribute.
