One member of your group will determine where will you distribute your product?

□ Will you sell your product yourself? (ie. Your own retail location on 4th St. SW)
□ Will you try to sell it to another store? (ie. Selling your line of unique t-shirts to Purr)
□ Wholesaler- Will you sell your product to another business (ie. Ripable Pizza box being sold to Boston Pizza)


Step 1: Start by reading through this Distribution tutorial;

Step 2: Once you think you know how you will distribute your product read through either the retailing or wholesaling tutorial to further familiarize yourself with the process and ensure you are making good decisions;

Step 3: Research how your competitors are delivering their goods/services. Make phone calls to inquire. Ensure you tell people up front that you are a student doing research for a project.

Deliverables:
-Minimum- 1 page description of your product distribution channel
Answer the following questions:
-How will you distribute your product?
-Why you have chosen to distribute your product this way? (you must include research to back up your decision, MLA formatted citing)
-Description of the location and/or process of distribution
-How convenient is this for your consumers to access- provide examples
-Include pictures of your ideal selling location

Include this in your Product Distribution section of your Business Venture binder.
