How To Get Over A Bad Day

  • Workout- Take a walk or go on a job to clear your mind.  Take your anger out on a punching bag or by throwing around some weights in a controlled manner.
  • Listen To Music- Put on your favorite playlist or song that always prompt you to sing along.  However; be sure to avoid angry and violent music that could potentially push you over the edge.
  • Watch Television- Turn on your favorite movie, TV show, or comedy to take your mind off things and refocus your thought process on something different
  • Talk To Someone- Call or visit that friend or mentor that you can talk to about anything.  Someone who will have an open-minded approach to help you through the day or situation.
  • Change Your Thought Process-  Think positive or about a different topic that isn't so stressful.  Try tackling a new task or taking a different approach to the subject at hand.
  • Aroma Therapy- Take a nice warm bath, filled with a soothing and relaxing fragrance.  Or light scented candles with some soothing oils to relax your mind and body after a long or stressful day.
  • Take a Nap- Loosen up that overly tightened belt and lie down to rest.  This gives you the chance to awaken the next day with a fresh start and a clear mind.
  • Intimacy- Release hormones, better known as oxytocin, with your partner.
