Day 4-

-You will need the document Abolitionists and States Rights.

-Read the document and then add any last reasons for the Civil War to your Reasons for the War worksheet.

-Research Fredrick Douglass and Harriet Tubman-Abolitionists 

-Daily Question: Who were Harriet Tubman and Fredrick Douglass? Please write a paragraph on each.

-Since there are four resources for the Abolitionists, your team may want to divide the research by each taking a website, researching it, and sharing it with your teammates.

-Compile your vocabulary sheets, Venn diagram, Reasons for the War, and A Nation Divided Map into your Civil War Journal.

-Review all information tonight and continue writing a five paragraph essay on the causes of the Civil War. You will be given time to complete 
the essay in class on Friday. 

-Bring all work from the Web Quest in your Civil War Journal to be handed in tomorrow. For a list of what is needed download TODAY the Essay Points document. This is important!

All information will inform the final essay that you will have completed by the end of class on day five. Begin the assignment early and be thorough with your daily activities. You will have time to work on your essay on Friday.
