1. With your target university in mind, do the research on the following items of that university: 1) the history of that university, particularly in the culture aspect; 2) how does the university celebrate its anniversary in terms of the cultural elements? 3) what are the traditional festivals passed on in that university? 4) what are the big events , esp. relevant to culture, that have ever occurred on the campus? 5) list those excellent alumni and their contributions.
2. Analyze the following two items: 1) what are the cultural characteristics of that university? 2) what's the biggest difference compared with your culture back at home?
