Activities:

The class will re-create a mini water cycle in a mixing bowl.  (See materials list below)  Students will explain evaporation, condensation, and precipitation as it occurred in the experiment.

Students will independently make a Prezi (graphic representation) of the water cycle labeling precipitation, collection, evaporation, and condensation.  Students will use www.prezi.com

Assessment

The assessment at the end of the unit will consist of a rubric for their graphic representations (utilizing Prezi - www.prezi.com) of the water cycle.

Task

·       Students review weather forecasts from each local station

·       Pick the one they like more and use it as a script to create their own weather forecast
