Climate Change

Now that you have completed your research and gathered enough information. Hopefully you have gained a greater understanding of the causes and effects of climate change. Your next task is to:

• create a presentation persuading your community that a climate change threat exists and what initiative can you, as a student(s) in your community, do to help prevent climate change.

For this task, you will be able to work individually or in pairs.

You will need to decide how you will present your information. Some ideas are:

• a newspaper article
• as a presentation using Google Slides
• as a dramatic performance/play
• as a news broadcast
• other (ask your teacher if you have another idea on how to present your information).

You can be as creative as you like but think carefully about:

• what would be the most effective way to reach your audience?
• what would make them pay attention?
• how will you ensure that you are heard?
• how will you best persuade others that climate change exists?
• what items will you need for your presentation?
