This week you will have some fun with some digital games.

  1. Digital game based learning activities are found at https://www.digitalpassport.org/educator-registration/studentLogin

  2. Login with the username and password provided by your teacher.

  • In Twalkers, you will learn why it's important to avoid multitasking with a cell phone. Consider the benefits of focusing on one task at a time.

  • In Share Jumper, you will evaluate examples of online messages. Decide what information is appropriate to share and when. You will also be reminded that nothing is truly "private" or "erasable" online.

  • In E-volve, you will make choices about what to do if they or their friends are cyberbullied. You will be encouraged to "evolve" into an “Upstander” – someone who takes action to stop cyberbullying, rather than standing by.

  • In Search Shark, you will learn how to choose effective keywords for searching online. You will practice selecting keywords that are most relevant to a search prompt. Along the way, you will discover hints for narrowing their search results.

  • In Mix-n-Mash, you will remix media content to create a new creative piece. Along the way, you will give proper credit to the artists whose images and sound clips they use.
