Milk: Good, bad, or ugly?

You are a journalist for a household magazine that reaches all sorts of customers. Your editor asks you to write a story about milk and where it comes from. However, the more you research the topic, the more you realize that many people have very strong opinions about the dairy industry; in fact, many people have entire web pages and articles devoted to their ideas on milk. Some people think that nobody should drink milk for various reasons, and some people think that there is nothing wrong with the industry and how the cows are treated during milk production. Since your editor wants you to take a fair, balanced look before you form an opinion and write your article, you decide to do some more research into the maze of arguments surrounding milk.
