What happens to the mud, sand, minerals and gravel,
that fall to the ocean�s floor after their long travel?
They settle in and take a rest for over a thousand years.
A sedimentary rock is formed and everybody cheers.

A volcano erupting is an incredible sight.
However some people find it to be a fright.
What remains when the molten lava cools?
An igneous rock is formed, which we learn about in school.

Now igneous and sedimentary rocks will go through a major change.
Heat and pressure from the earth will cause them to rearrange.
When this change happens what rock do you get?
A metamorphic rock, it�s a sure bet.
