Maps? What are maps?

Have you ever looked at a map and did not know what it meant?  Have you ever wondered what all of that stuff that was on a map meant?  Well we are about to find out!  You are going to go on a map safari.  You will be hunters of map features.  You will discover what the images on maps are and what they mean.  You will travel through the internet to far off and exciting places.  When you return from the safari you and a partner will be challenged to create your own map!  Learning safari here we come!
