Welcome to the NASA space center located within Redstone Arsenal in Huntsville, AL! I am looking at some of the finest minds of the next generation of physicists and engineers. Today, you will be tasked with helping us improve the mobility of the Mars rover. Each of you must build a prototype of a rover that has the capabilities of traveling 2m on a single thrust of fuel. The prototypes will be made using light-weight wood, compact disks, rubber bands, hot glue, and nails. You must put your imaginative power and skills in mechanics to work to complete this task. Once the prototypes are finished, we will race them to see who's model can get to 2m the fastest with the winner being appointed to NASA Mars rover engineer! There may be some exam bonus points up for grabs as well!
