Life of a Coyote

     A sharp yip travels across a vast field.  More yips, then howls, then yip-howls follow.  People at a near by park freeze and look around.

     "What is that sound," a woman asks.

     "Coyotes," a local park ranger replies. 

     All of the sudden, the yip-howls stop abruptly.  People breathe a sigh of relief and go about their activities at the park.   

     No doubt about it, they were coyotes off in the distance.
