Communities

Have you ever thought about where you live? The different type of people you see, the buildings that are around you or they way you get around. Where you may live and the things you see may be different than someone else. Although they are different they are still what we call a community.. A community is a group of people living or working together in the same area. You will use online research to understand the three types of communities (Rural, Urban, and Suburban) and their characteristics. Your task is to write about your favorite community that you traveled to and recall all of the things that you saw, heard , or even smelt!

In this lesson students will research Rural, Urban, and Suburban communities, with this knowledge they will be able to write about their favorite community.
