Lewis and Clark Expedition

The expedition of Lewis and Clack gave the United States the opportunity to discover new territories as well as new flora and fauna. The expedition which took place during the 1804-1806 was truly one that can be compared to any non-fiction story of these days. for example, The Hunger Games.It is a story of adventure and discovery, of reunion and redemption, of perseverance and innovation. During the following two years William Clark and Meriwether Lewis and 40 other men undertook the voyage through the unexplored Louisiana purchase. They explored the Louisiana territory by foot and boat and documented the discovery of more than 300 new spices of animals and plants.They also had the opportunity to meet many new Native American tribes. If Thomas Jefferson had not purchase the Louisiana territory do you think The United States would have traveled West? Why or why not?  

 After completing the assignment, you will have the knowledge and  facts regarding this endless adventurist voyage of Lewis and Clark. You will also discover the new challenges The United State had to face after conquering new territories. Do you think everything went as planned? Make you hypothesis and see if you were right!
