The Family

We will sensitize students about on the different types of family. we will explore how this will impact  and improve learning/understanding of the family. Karen's Webquest will focused on the five year old students.These activities that the students will engage in will allow them to develop an awareness of the different types of family. The students will be able to identify with the different types of family. The activities will show the following:

1. The Nuclear Family-  is a Basic social unit consisting of parents and their children,  dwelling together
2. The Single Parent family  - consists of one or more adults together with the children they care for
3. The Extended family - consists of different relations e.g Cousins, uncle ,aunt and other members of the family living together
