Learning about Diversity in Education

This WebQuest is designed to challenge you as a student to educate yourself about diversity in the classroom. As we see a wide variety of diversity in the classroom more and more each year, we must learn to respect and better understand the changes this brings into the classroom. Every child is different, and instead of putting up boundaries and walls to avoid learning about the different individuals, it is important to understand and respect everyone's significant background. As a teacher, I want my students to respect and understand each other so we can cooperate as a classroom and influence each other in positive ways. This starts by me providing my students with information that they can use to create a classroom free of prejudice so we can focus on the learning process.
