Many people overlook the term "Parenting Styles", when quite frankly it is something spoken about daily. Parenting styles are simply different forms in which parents choose to raise their child. Below the 4 main types are listed with a brief explanation.

1. Authoritative Parenting - Parents expect order but also offer a bit of growing room for the child to develop and mature.

2. Authoritarian Parenting - In this style it is parents way or the highway. Guardians are strict and often cold.

3. Permissive Parenting - The children may run the house while the parents sit and watch. These kids may be spoiled and used to having their way.

4. Uninvolved Parenting - These parents have no attachment to their child(ren) and this often causes development problems.
