The American Flag
Introduction
Hello! It's nice to meet you. In case you didn't recognize who I was, I'll introduce myself.
I'm George Washington. The first President of the United States of America. I am here today because I am in desperate need of your help! Yesterday, I was taking a walk in the woods and I fell and bumped my head on a tree stump. I thought I was fine but when I made it back to my house, I saw a strange looking flag. It has 50 stars and 13 stripes (7 red, 6 white). Do you know what this flag is? I think that someone may have called it the American flag but I can't be for sure. Last time I saw the American flag, it only had 13 stars and they were not organized anything like they were today. When I left for my walk I knew what the American flag was and what the stars and stripes meant but now the arrangement is not the same to me and I don't know what this represents. If I didn't know any better I would have thought I had been knocked out for a long, long time when I hit my head because nothing seems the same. I just asked someone what year it was and they said 2016! What? I guess I was asleep for a lot longer than I thought I was...
If you could help me relearn what this flag is, what the starts and stripes stand for, and what each color represents I will owe you big time.
