The Cuban Missile Crisis was between the U.S., Cuba, and the Soviet Union. It was a time of fear in the United States. The Soviet Union was scared that the United States would invade Cuba because of the recent events. So the Soviet Union placed missiles in Cuba, 90 miles from the coast of Florida. These missiles protected Cuba from America, because one false move and the United States would be destroyed.
