USS Indianapolis Into the Killing Seas
Introduction
Before reading Into the Killing Seas by Michael Spradlin, I want you to discover for yourself why the sinking of the USS Indianapolis was the worst Naval disaster in US history. On July 30, 1945, after delivering the atomic bomb that would be dropped on Hiroshima, Japan, the ship was hit by a Japanese submarine and sank in 12 minutes.
Out of a crew of 1,199 men, only 319 survived the sinking, shark attacks, and the 5 days stranded in the ocean. This catastrophe is ridden with lies and cover-ups that you will uncover yourself!
